It is a giant slug that lives in the wet swamps of the Galapagos Islands in the South Pacific. It crawls on the surface of the earth, emitting a slimy mucus from its body. It's sluggish in its movements, but it crushes people.
南太平洋、ガラパゴス諸島の湿潤な沼地に生息する巨大ナメクジ。体からヌルヌルとした粘液を出し、地表をヌメヌメとはいまわる。動きはのろいが、人にのしかかってくる。

This name comes directly from the slug.
名前の由来は巻貝のナメクジそのまま。

Note

Normally, there are 4 graphics for a monster, but Mu makes an exception and uses 5, while Slug has 3, with one graphic for jumping removed.
