Scene 1 (BGM: Theme of Death / 死のテーマ)
A long time ago, so long way from now...今から遠い遠い……
それは遠い昔のこと……。
The country was on the brink of destruction by the king dragon Keela.
この国は、魔竜ディルギオスによって
滅亡の危機に瀕していました。
Many brave people were killed by the King Dragon's fire,
and the powerless could do nothing but be afraid.
多くの勇気ある者は
魔竜の業火に命を奪われ、
力なき人々は、
恐怖に怯えるしかできませんでした。
So... until a clan of Dragon Slayers appeared on the wasted earth.
そう……
荒れ果てた大地に現れた
竜殺しの一族が現れるまでは。
The clan took a swing of a sword and a tremendous amount of magical power
and challenged the king dragon that nests in this land to battle.
その一族は一振りの剣と、
途方もない魔力を持って
この地に巣食う魔竜に戦いを挑みました。
A fierce battle was fought as the seven nights dawned,
and the clan finally sealed the king dragon.
七つの夜が明ける、
激闘が繰り広げられ、
ついに一族は魔竜を封印したのです。
Peace has come to this country,
but they have decided to stay here to prepare for the coming resurrection of the king dragon.
この国に平和が訪れましたが、
彼らは来るべく魔竜の復活に備え、
この地に留まることにしました。
Thus, the existence of the king dragon would be passed on as a legend of fear.
かくして、魔竜の存在は、
恐怖の伝説として、
語り継がれていくことになるのです。
The existence of such a king dragon and the horrors people had experienced
were forgotten by everyone...
そんな魔竜の存在も、
人々が体験した恐怖も、
誰もが忘れ去るほどの時が流れ……。
In a corner of a large forest,
there lived a family of lumberjacks.
ある大きな森の片隅に、
木こりの一家が暮らしていました。
力持ちのお父さん、ゼムン。
不思議な力を使うお母さん、メイア。
And the firm younger sis who supports her bro, Lyll.
ちょっぴり臆病な剣の使い手ロイアスと、
兄を支えるしっかり者の妹、リルル。
grandpa Dawel and grandma Geera.
一家を見守る、
おじいさんのドウエルと
おばあさんのジーラ。
そして、ペットのポチ。
The family worked together and lived well together.
一家は力を合わせて、
仲良く暮らしていました。
Then one day......
そんなある日のこと……

Hmm? Pochi, what have you got in your mouth?
ゼムン
ん？ポチ、何をくわえているんだ？

whine, whine......
ポチ
くぅーん、きゅーん……

Dragons'... scales?
こっ！これは！
ドラゴンの…ウロコ？
What's going on? Dad?
ロイアス
どうしたの？お父さん？
Xemn
Maia! Get over here!
The legendary dragon is about to return...
That dragon, Keela...!
ゼムン
メイア！ちょっと来てくれ！
伝説の魔竜が復活しようとしている…
かの竜、ディルギオスが…！
Well the time has come at last...
Kids, listen up.
メイア
そう……
ついにこの時がきたのね…
子供たち、よく聞いて。
We are a tribe of Dragon Slayers who remain in the land to prepare for the resurrection of the dragon.
I've told you that before, haven't you?
メイア
私たちは竜の復活に備え、
この地に残った、竜殺しの一族。
それは前にも話したわね？
Maia
We need to seal the dragon again.
And that's something we can accomplish together as a family.
メイア
私たちは竜をもう一度、
封印しなくてはならないの。
そして、それは家族みんなで
成し遂げることなのよ。
Lyll
Yeah, I know.
We have to do this! don't we?
リルル
うん。わかってる。
私たちがやらなくてはならないのね！
Royas
Uh, yeah...
It's kind of scary......
ロイアス

Oh! Big bro! Shape up!

もう！お兄ちゃん！
しっかりしてよ！
In order to seal Keela,
we need the Old Sword Dragon Slayer.
ゼムン
ディルギオスを封印するためには、
古より竜殺しの剣、
ドラゴンスレイヤーが必要だ。

And the person who can control the Dragon Slayer is Royas... only you.
ゼムン
そしてドラゴンスレイヤーを扱えるのは、
ロイアス…お前だけだ。
Royas
......yeah. That's what I've been practicing my sword for... I know...
ロイアス
……うん。
そのために剣を練習してきたんだね…
わかってる…
Lyll
Ugh! This is so frustrating!
Go out with all your might! Be a man!
リルル
あーもう！じれったいなあ！
バーンといきなさいよ！男でしょう！？

That's easy for you to say......
ロイアス
そんなこと言ったって……

Okay! Let's all work together!
Everyone! Let's go!
ゼムン
よし！皆で力を合わせて頑張ろう！
みんな！行くぞ！
Thus, the family is set to take on the underground labyrinth in search of the Dragon Slayer,
in order to defeat Keela, the resurrected King Dragon.
こうして家族たちは、
復活の魔竜ディルギオスを倒すべく、
竜殺しの剣ドラゴンスレイヤーを求め、
地下迷宮に挑むことになったのです。
