It is a legendary dragon from the Scottish region of northern England, a fearsome monster that once flew through the skies on its wings and ravaged the nations of the earth.
So long ago, by the magic of a good wizard, the dragon was turned into a single large relief and enclosed in a maze of underground dungeons.
The relief containing the dragon is located slightly above the center of the dungeon and is enclosed in a hard block. To defeat the dragon, you must find the four crowns and obtain the Dragon Slayer.
If you wield the Dragon Slayer under the dragon's relief several times, you can use its magic to get inside the dragon's relief. However, only Royas can use the Dragon Slayer.
　イギリス北部のスコットランド地方に伝わる伝説のドラゴンで、その昔、羽根で空を飛びまわっては、地上の国々を荒らしまわった恐ろしい怪獣だ。
　そのため、昔、良いウィザードの魔法により、ドラゴンは1枚の大きな壁画にされ、地下のダンジョンの迷路のなかへ封じ込められた。
　ドラゴンを封じ込めた壁画はダンジョンの中央よりやや上のところにあって、堅いブロックに閉ざされている。ドラゴンを倒すには4つのクラウンを見つけ出し、ドラゴンスレイヤーを手にいれなければならない。
　ドラゴンの壁画の下でドラゴンスレイヤーを何回か振り回すと、その魔力でドラゴンの壁画の中に入ることができる。しかし、ドラゴンスレイヤーを使えるのはロイアスだけだ。

It is a dragon that was once defeated by the Dragon Slayer family's ancestral wizard. It was contained as a relief by the wizard, but an evil force broke the containment spell and resurrected it. It breathes powerful flames and flies through the air. It can only be defeated by the Dragon Slayer.
　その昔、ドラゴンスレイヤーファミリーの先祖の魔法使いが倒したドラゴン。魔法使いによって、壁画として封じ込められたのだが、邪悪な力によって封じ込めの魔法が破られ、復活してしまった。強力な炎を吐き、空を飛ぶ。唯一ドラゴンスレイヤーによってしか倒すことが出来ない。

Note

According to the book "Falcom Bible", it is described as follows.
Keela was originally one of the Silver Dragons who lived in Xanadu (the title and setting of Dragon Slayer 2). It flew into the oasis of Lemia, the stage of Dragon Slayer 4. From Lemia, Xanadu is located on the northern continent.
After Keela flew into Lemia, it was transferred from the demon imbued rock to the demon. It's beautiful silvery white skin had been discolored into a dirty, earthy skin. Although it was a silver dragon, its breath was a breath of fire like a red dragon.
　書籍「ファルコム・バイブル」によると、以下のように記述されている。
　ディルギオスは元々ザナドゥ(ドラゴンスレイヤー2の題名及び舞台)に住むシルバードラゴンの1体であった。ドラゴンスレイヤー4の舞台であるオアシス「レミア」に飛来した。レミアから見てザナドゥは北の大陸に位置する。
　ディルギオスはレミアに飛来した後、悪魔の染み込んだ岩から悪魔に乗り移られた。白銀に輝く美しい皮膚は、汚い土色の皮膚への変色していた。シルバードラゴンでありながらそのブレスはレッドドラゴンのごとき火炎のブレスであった。

In the final MSX1, MSX2 ver. of boss fight, the LIFE display is "DILGUIOS".

In the PV, the names of this are "DYLGYOS" and "DILGYOS".
