It is a magical staff that was commonly used by wizards in the past. The magic power in this staff makes your weapon fly 2 times farther. The power of the weapon is unchanged, but it requires 1 MAGIC for each attack.
かつてウイザードたちがよく使っていたという魔法の杖。この杖に秘められた魔力によって自分の武器が2倍も遠くに飛ぶようになる。武器の威力は変わらないが、1回につきMAGICを1消費する。

ファイア・ロッド / Fire Rod

It doubles the flying distance of attacks. If given to a character with a short distance, it is useful for defeating monsters before they get close. This is also an item that requires MAGIC.
攻撃の飛距離を倍にする。飛距離の短いキャラに持たせると、モンスターが近づく前に倒せて便利。これもMAGICを使うアイテムだ。

Note

The DISTANCE value is doubled in all versions, but the actual distance of the bullets is not doubled.
全機種でDISTANCEの数値が2倍になるが、実際の弾の飛距離は2倍にはならない。
