LSD4 RTA Trilogy / LSD4 ドラゴンスレイヤー4 RTA3部作

I tried all three RTAs in 2020 with all my might, and I ran out of my knowledge and techniques. I archived them.
2020年にドラゴンスレイヤー4(Legacy of the Wizard)3機種のRTAに全力で挑み、持てる知識と技術を出し尽くして私のすべてをアーカイブ化した。

• PHASE 1(MSX1 ver.): I set the first world record on the most difficult and rarest models.
  PHASE 1(MSX1版): 最高難度のレア機種で最初の世界記録を創立。
  
• PHASE 2(MSX2 ver.): I found a route that could be accelerate to 6x speed with a scroll that could be done by anyone, shorten the world record by 14 minutes.
  PHASE 2(MSX2版): 誰にでも出来る巻物6倍速ルートを発見し世界記録を14分短縮。
  
• PHASE 3(FC ver.): I achieved my limit, the long-awaited game clear within 30 minutes.
  PHASE 3(FC版): 自分の限界、悲願の30分切りを達成。

I cleared this game in just 6 battles.

This experiment was to create a route to participate in the Internet ranking of the MOBILE PHONE version in 2008.
The score is the number of times the player attacks during the game, and the fewer the number of attacks, be better.
The counting details were unknown. In my case, I played 718 times in normal play, this route is 108 times and placed 8th.
* Pause Jump is not available, so the route will change. *
The 1st place record was 57 times. I'm very curious to know how they did it.
もともと、この実験は2008年の携帯電話版でインターネットランキングがあり、これに参加するためのルート作成でした。
競うスコアは「ゲーム中、攻撃した回数」で少ないほどハイスコアとなります。
カウントの細かな条件は不明でしたが、僕の場合は通常プレイで718回、このルートに近いプレイで108回/8位でした。
※多段ジャンプが使えないのでルートが変わります。
1位の記録は57回でした。どうやったのか大変興味深いです。

※訳注：英語タイトルをPacifist Runとしましたが、この名称は敵を全く倒さないプレイに限らず、なるべく倒さないようにするプレイも含まれるようです。

This is a comparison of player character jump power in Dragon Slayer 4. The results are the same for all versions. The highest jumper is Lyll. So how about the other characters?
ドラゴンスレイヤー4でプレイヤーキャラクターのジャンプ力を比較しました。全機種で同じ結果になります。最も高くジャンプできるのはリルルですが、他のキャラはどうでしょうか。

(NES)DISTANCE Compare / (NES)弾の飛距離比較

This is a comparison of player character distance of the bullets and the time it takes to shoot them out in Dragon Slayer 4. The results are the same for all versions.
ドラゴンスレイヤー4でプレイヤーキャラクターの弾の飛距離と撃ち尽くすまでの時間を比較しました。全機種で同じ結果になります。

This is the maximum speed measurement when taking a scroll in Dragon Slayer 4(Legacy of the Wizard). The results are the same for all versions.

I hacked the ROM and experimented to test how fast the player would fall if they jumped from B1F to B16F all at once.
ROMを改造し、地下1階から地下16階まで一気に飛び降りたら落下速度がどこまで上がるのかを実験しました。

I hacked the ROM and experimented to test what would happen if LIFE became 0 in the opening demo screen.

I hacked the ROM and experimented to create a SHOP door in an area where there is no SHOP, and see what happens when we go inside.
ROMを改造し、SHOPの無いエリアにSHOPの入口を作り、中に入るとどうなるのかを実験しました。

(FC)Experiment: Obstacle at the ENDING / (FC)実験: エンディング途中に障害物

I hacked the ROM and experimented to put an obstacle in the place where the player walks during the ending to see what would happen.
ROMを改造し、エンディング中に歩く場所へ障害物を置いたらどうなるのかを実験しました。

(MSX2)Experiment: Blue poison can be appeared? / (MSX2)実験: 青い毒薬を出せるか

The MSX2 version has a poison from a treasure chest at the depths of the Xemn area.
The poison is the same color as the player character.
So, is it possible to go there with Royas and get a blue poison?
MSX2版はゼムン面の奥で宝箱から毒薬が出ます。
毒薬はプレイヤーキャラクターと同じ色になります。
では、ロイアスでそこまで行って青い毒薬を出せるのでしょうか？

Xemn in the MSX2 version of Dragon Slayer 4 can get Mattock early by using Gloves. I used this to verify the item collection times in the Pochi area.
